UWELL is a futuristic, technologically advanced AI-enabled wellness facility that is opening its doors at the iconic V&A Waterfront in Cape Town in 2023.

UWELL aims to become the first “Phygital (where the physical world meets the digital world) Harley Street” of health and wellness, and will partner with some of the world’s most highly rated and distinguished medical and wellness experts – making it a premier destination for people seeking cutting-edge traditional, as well as preventative, medical care.

UWELL V&A will be the first of a string of truly multi-disciplinary wellness hubs in Africa which – in collaboration with genetic testing laboratories and through the use of the UWELL Sensory Reality Pods – will create DNA-driven WellCare plans to provide healthcare practitioners and patients with uniquely personalised treatment strategies; and enable a more precise, predictable and preventive approach to healthcare.

UMed

Makes U Better

South Africa’s first WellCare-enabled UMED facility, with modern architecture and cutting-edge technology, is set to be built in Johannesburg in the near future. This will be home to our Day Hospital offering (Specialist Institute of Medicine) in collaboration with practitioners from our step-down facility (URECOVER) and on-premises wellness institute (UWELL); the northern counterpart to that of UWELL Cape Town. Additional UMED facilities are on the horizon.

Returns U to Optimal Health

Our planned rehabilitation solution will complement that of UWELL and UMED. Supported by both medical and non-medical practitioners, URECOVER will strive to help patients avoid lengthy and costly hospital stays and educate patients and patrons on the benefits and practice of WellCare.

Rehabilitation is an important part of universal health coverage. We envision close and tight collaboration between doctors promoting “patient sharing” building the holistic wellness patient experiences and WellCare journeys within our facilities.
